Monir Hossain is working in the department of Neonatal Medicine, NICU & Critical Care of Pediatrics at Bangladesh Institute of Child Health (BICH) and Dhaka Shishu (Children) Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is also the Chief Consultant of NICU, PICU and Pediatrics of Universal Medical College Hospital (Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital), a private medical college hospital at Dhaka, Bangladesh. After completion of MBBS, Prof Hossain obtained DCH in 1990, MD (Pediatrics) in 1997 and FCPS (Pediatrics) in 1999.
