It is situated in the heart of Dhaka with an easy access of transportation and has been showing its dedication and true interest in serving people to every means and resources. It was established in the year of 1996 and subsequently being acquired by the current owner in 2004 with an objective to provide best quality health care services. After, we materialized ourselves to be a multidisciplinary healthcare service providing tertiary level of care with the core value to make healthier health sector. Universal Medical College & Hospital Ltd. (Former Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital) has been established with an aim to serve the people with the commitment of providing best health care services as a private hospital in Bangladesh.

In 2004, we materialized ourselves to be a multidisciplinary healthcare service providing tertiary hospital with the core value which is to make healthcare healthier gradually. Today, after one decade of serving people it is now better known as UMCH, one of the most recognized and renowned referral hospital in Bangladesh. In last decade there was tremendous development successfully executed at health sector in Bangladesh.

It’s my immense pleasure to express my feeling about our Universal Medical College & Hospital Ltd. (UMCH). Personally, I have completed M.Sc. in Engineering from BUET, PGDT from Manchester University (England). I am glad to be involved with this medical college hospital since its beginning.

I would like to express my modest gratitude with cordial thanks from the core of my heart and best wishes to all our honorable clients, business partners and well-wishers. During a time of unprecedented and unsettling transformation in the healthcare industry and its funding resources, we continue to navigate through almost constant change and challenge. Universal Medical College Hospital brings together a state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern technology and a very dedicated human staff to provide treatment in a compassionate environment.

A number of talented, skilled and dedicated medical staffs are working and putting their highest effort to deliver high quality of medical care to meet patient’s requirement and best satisfaction. The implementation of our strategic plan is paying off in terms of increasing revenue opportunities and changing the way we manage ever increasing costs. So that we can do more with less reliance on restrained financial resources, and still grow in ways that are important for our community.

Universal Medical College & Hospital Ltd. (Former Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital) was established in 1997 with the prime vision of "Provision of people’s fundamental requirement of healthcare" and motto of "Not only business but also serving humanity".

Universal Medical College & Hospital Ltd. (UMCH) carries vision of "Adding years of healthy life to the people of Bangladesh" – we want healthy nation with smiling face. Moreover, Universal Medical College Hospital plays social activities, concessions for the poor patients, performing knowledge sharing seminar and symposium. Not only this but also this Hospital had been awarded as the best private hospital for the Critical Care Service in 2009 by the honorable health minister.

In Bengali word "Tilottoma" which means the loving city, here I mention this Bengali title name for our Dhaka city, situated in the heart of Bangladesh. Our Dhaka city has been facing the lack of a modern Cardiac Hospital Infrastructure. While existing cardiac hospitals are doing a great job, we at Universal Medical College Hospital thinks it is now time to take cardiac hospital services to the next level.

With this background, Universal Medical College Hospital has taken up the initiative of creating world class Cardiac Centre that matches the highest standards of cardiac care delivery anywhere in the country. From this thought we established Universal Cardiac Hospital where we are ensuring world class cardiac treatment at a very affordable cost and by observing highest level of ethical values.
